Berkhamsted had a frustrating Saturday, with both fixtures falling foul of the weather.
The first team’s away game against Aylesbury United and the Reserves’ home fixture with Newport Pagnell Town were both called off due to partially frozen pitches.
Manager Mick Vipond still had a busy week, however, as he wrapped up three transfer deals.
Returning to Broadwater from Ampthill Town is centre-back Jim Carmichael, while midfielder Russell Clark heads to Premier Division rivals Aylesbury United and full-back Ross Clemo returns to Wodson Park.
Elsewhere, Berko’s U18 side went down 3-1 to Boreham Wood in midweek, with Jordan Aikman netting the Comrades’ goal from the penalty spot
The Berko faithful will be hopeful that their team’s extended rest will mean they are fresh for this Saturday’s trip to Hatfield Town.
Vipond’s side head to the Gosling Stadium without the services of midfielder Tyler Hatherly who misses the match with a suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards.
Berko currently sit in ninth place in the league table, level on points with eighth-placed Aylesbury.
A win on Saturday could see Vipond’s men climb to seventh place should other results go their way.
Elsewhere on Saturday, the Reserves side are set for a home clash with Leighton Town in the Suburban League North.
