ARE you at a loss as to what to buy your other half this Christmas? Are you struggling to find something unique for the person who has everything?
Why not forgo the chain stores this year and instead pay a visit to Berkhamsted Art Society’s Winter Art Exhibition, which starts next week.
More than 300 items, all by local artists, will be on display and for sale – including framed and unframed pictures, pottery, sculpture and woodcraft.
The ideal present will be in there somewhere!
Berkhamsted Art Society’s roots go back to the late 1920s when a few enthusiastic artists met in town to share their interest in art and to encourage others.
The organisation has grown considerably over the years and now also includes an impressive annual programme of events.
There are drawing evenings, Saturday workshops and two annual exhibitions – the other is in May.
The Winter Art Exhibition will be at the Civic Centre, Berkhamsted from Monday, November 28 to Saturday, December 3, daily from 9am to 6pm and on Saturday, from 9am to 5pm. Entry to the exhibition is free.
