There were mixed fortunes for Berkhamsted and Leverstock Green as they both took to the pitch for cup ties on Tuesday night.

Berko recorded a 4-2 victory over Met Police Bushey to make it through to the semi-finals of the St Mary’s Cup, while Levy were knocked out of the Challenge Trophy by Colney Heath.

It was an impressive win for Berko, who bounced back well from Saturday’s disappointing 4-1 loss to Hatfield Town.

A Myles Stephenson brace gave the Comrades a 2-1 lead at half-time, and they wrapped up the win with an own goal and a strike from Glenn Thompson.

Levy, meanwhile, were much improved following their seven-goal nightmare against Oxhey Jets, but were eventually edged out by Colney.

Marvin Tabi got the Green goal, but it was not enough to prevent them from slipping to the narrow defeat.
