A NEW Italian restaurant, deli and food shop has opened in Berkhamsted’s protected Victorian Town Hall.
The national Carluccio’s brand, which has outlets in St Albans and Milton Keynes, opened in the ground floor High Street landmark on July 5.
Carluccio’s prides itself on offering a seasonally changing menu, offering regional Italian dishes prepared fresh each day. Many of the ingredients are sourced direct from producers in Italy.
There are 13 pasta dishes on offer as well as Italian coffees. Ice creams come from a family-run Italian business that has been making gelati for over 100 years.
The food shop also stocks products from Italy, including regional olive oils. The deli stocks Italian produce including Parma ham, salamis, cheeses, olives and tarts as well as freshly made Italian dishes and sweet treats .
