BIKERS will be revving up their engines and riding out as a group to remember two motorcycle fans.

Members of the Fuel Burners bike club are hosting the ride out in memory of 44-year-old Alan Webb, who lived in Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted man David Welling, 42, whose lives were cut short when the bike they were travelling on collided with a car back in 2010.

The dads were both founding members of the bike group and Alan, nicknamed Webby, was the president – a position that will never be replaced.

Club member Alan Delderfield, better known as DJ Pimmer, said: “He took his president badge with him. We will never have another president.”

Bikers will meet up at McDonald’s in Jarman Park, Hemel Hempstead, at midday on Sunday, March 18. They will make their way to the crash site in Leighton Buzzard Road before visiting Tring Cemetery where David was laid to rest. The group will then go on to the White Hart pub in Whelpley Hill, Bucks.

Alan added: “We always remember them wherever we go.”

Other bikers are welcome to join the ride out, which will be marshalled by Road Chasers Motorcycle Rally Club.
