LOVED-up residents have been declaring their devotion to Dacorum.
So far more than 50 people have put pen to paper to reveal what they love about the borough. The most enthusiastic have been those living and working in the Tring area.
Their outburst of passion meant staff at the Victoria Hall in Akeman Street temporarily ran out of love postcards for happy residents to fill in.
Mayor of Dacorum Roger Taylor and Heather Allen from the Volunteer Centre launched the initiative, which aims to showcase happy tales from around the borough, last week.
Submissions have praised the area as somewhere to escape from London’s hustle and bustle, a great place to work and raise children and good for shopping.
There is still time to announce your love for the area and all entries will go into a £50 prize draw. Postcards are available at the Volunteer Centre in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, council civic centres in Marlowes and High Street in Berkhamsted and the Victoria Hall in Tring. The closing date is March 31.
