FUNDRAISING for the Adam Dealey Foundation to raise money for research into bone cancer has totted up more than £23,000 with its last three events.
Supporters of the campaign were out in force taking part in a range of activities including a golf day, gala dinner, sponsored walk and marathon.
The Langleybury Walk from the Saracen’s Head pub in Kings Langley raised £1,300, the foundation’s annual golf day and gala dinner at Verulam park and Sopwell House raised a staggering £17,694.
Organiser John Dealey, from Hemel Hempstead, said that a generous auction prize donation of a holiday to Dubai staying at the Atlantis courtesy of Virgin Holidays and the Branson family raised £6,000 alone.
Peter Nunn from Little Gaddesden also added £3,000 to the pot with his efforts raising sponsorship doing the Great North run.
