A group that supports new mums and dads must attract new volunteers or face closure at the end of the year.
The NCT Tring and District Branch has already been forced to scale back its services, including its Babes and Bumps coffee morning, because of dwindling helpers.
Now the group has reached crisis point with the stepping down of its branch co-ordinator, treasurer and secretary. There are also a whole host of other positions available for those who can spare a few hours a week.
Committee member and mum-of-two Karen Sawyer, signed up after meeting fellow mums through the group’s meetings while pregnant with her youngest child.
She said: “We all connected really well and became really good friends. We all baby-sit for each other and meet up.”
The group runs support sessions, breastfeeding counselling, nearly new sales and distributes a newsletter.
