A DOMINANT second half display saw Dewsbury Celtic run out 36-4 winners at Hemel Stags in the Heinz Big Soup Conference Youth League.

Conor Meese opened the scoring as the prop crashed over in the tenth minute for a try that Thom Halloran converted, although to their credit the hosts dug deep and were rewarded when hooker Tyler Hurst touched down.

With the score at 6-4 at half-time, it was all to play for in the second period – and it was the west Yorkshire visitors who took full advantage.

Lewis Allot pushed them further ahead just moments after the re-start and, soon after, Halloran added his third goal when he converted Liam Riley’s effort.

Further scores to Meese, Nathan Lawrence and Josh Syket were all again converted by the boot of Halloran – who finished with six goals from as many attempts – as Dewsbury ran away with the game to claim their second win in a row.
