PEOPLE will be flashing their knickers for Ovarian Cancer by joining a fundraising Walkathong on Sunday.
This sponsored walk involves wearing specially designed teal pants over clothes, which display the Ovarian Cancer charity’s logo.
This year’s event, covering 10k, will take place at the Ashridge Estate, Moneybury Hill, Berkahmsted, from 8am.
Carly Cochrane launched the Walkathong after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer herself.
After receiving successful treatment, she is now determined to create more awareness of the symptoms of the female cancer.
These include persistent stomach pain, persistent bloating, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly and needing to pass urine more frequently.
