A WIDE-ranging campaign designed to tackle a number of issues over the summer, from illegal camp sites and arson to general road and water safety, has been launched.
A joint effort by the NHS, police, fire and rescue, trading standards and the county council, the Be Safe and Enjoy Summer campaign is thought to be particularly important this year due to the Olympic games and a number of big music events taking place across the county.
The campaign was launched for the start of the football European Championships to promote messages of responsible drinking and personal safety during the tournament.
Staff from all the involved organisations will be making appearances at events throughout the summer, but information can also be found online.
