KZR Music’s summer rock sessions for budding young musicians, which are now held in the barn at Hemel Hempstead School, went down a storm this year.
Founder Andy Fleet said: “We had some of the best young musicians we’ve ever had through our doors - the youngsters nailed some Rolling Stones, Kinks, Two Door Cinema Club and Oasis to name but a few, and the grand finale gig was packed.
The next Hemel course which culminates in a gig for family and friends takes place for two days over half-term - on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday, October 25, from 10am to 2pm.
Interested students, who must all be serious about their music and should have been playing their instruments for at least 18 months, should check out the website at www.kzrmusic.co.uk.
KZR Music is different to many other rock schools in that it doesn’t cater for total beginners nor does it teach large unwieldy groups in quick one hour bursts.
Instead they are a professional organisation providing a top quality band experience using the best venues, equipment and instructors for talented youngsters who have experience.
