An ex-politician is calling for town leaders to give work experience placements to young people who need help finding jobs.
During the annual meeting of Berkhamsted Town Council on Thursday, Norman Cutting said he has asked the body to look into it repeatedly – and been ignored.
He thinks it will help make young people more employable. The council said it would look into it.
Norman, of the town’s Chestnut Drive, used to be a councillor with Dacorum Borough Council.
