THE husband of an avid charity fundraiser will be continuing her good work for charity by taking part in a sponsored cycle challenge.
Stuart Findlow from Tring will be cycling the Chilterns Cycle Challenge this Sunday in memory of his wife Amanda, who died last month.
Amanda (picture with her family last Chritmas) was well known for raising money for the Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care by singing with Mr Kite’s Benefit Band, even during the time she was battling cancer.
It was because of the hospice at home care that she was able to carry on performing.
Stuart said: “I wanted to give something back for all the help Iain Rennie gave us and do it in her memory so I decided to take part in its cycle challenge and also its triathlon challenge at RAF Halton on Saturday, April 28.
“I just want to raise as much money as possible and I think the atmosphere will be great.”
The triathlon is for athletes of all fitness levels and people can register to take part at www.rafhaltontriathlon.org.
