West Herts League Premier Division side Hemel Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw as they took on Croxley C&H FC.

In a tight game, (pictured, courtesy of Jim Garnett) Ray Wood found the net for Hemel to ensure his side earned a draw.

Tring Athletic A also took a share of the points as Steve Wood’s goal was enough to secure a 1-1 draw at Hadley A.

In Division One, Bovingdon A were thrashed 6-0 by Philippine FC, but Abbots Langley swept to a 5-2 win over Tring Athletic B in their Division Two clash.

It was bad news for Kings Sports in the National Christian Cup as they were knocked out at the fourth round stage by Cheshire outfit Toft Tornados.

Hemel Sharpshooters progressed to the second round of the Holloway Trophy with a 2-1 victory at Hunton Bridge, while Potten End booked their place in the third round by beating Oxhey Wanderers Reserves 5-2.

Elsewhere, it was good news for SWR Doors as they edged their way into the fourth round of the Apsley Senior Charity Cup with a 3-2 win over Oxhey Jets A.

A Stuart Meaney double and a strike from Jamie Hatchett did the damage for Doors.

Pitstone and Ivinghoe Reserves are through to the Webster Cup third round courtesy of a penalty-shootout win over Park Street Village Reserves.

With the scores locked 5-5 after extra-time, Pitstone kept their cool in the shootout to take a 3-0 win.
